Glogster Edu is a free online tool that allows the user to digitally create a poster and share it online. The user is able to upload or embed photos and videos on to their poster. This tool gives the user space to visually organize and present their research in a way that is more appealing and fun for both the user and the viewer.
Benefits of Tool or App
There are several benefits of using this tool in the classroom for both the teacher and the student. The teacher could use this tool to put a twist on how she presents information to the student to make it more engaging for the students. One benefit of this tool for students is that it can fit a wide range of creativity. A poster made using this tool can be very basic and only include the requirements or an extra artsy student can add tons of effects. The tool is very easy to learn and use for teachers and students. From working with Glogster Edu in my classroom I have found very few constraints of the tool. One constraint would be the ability to save the product. Another constraint would be the amount it takes for some of the items to load onto the poster.

Log on to Glogster Edu and click to create new glog. At that point you can choose a template among several different options. Once the template is loaded, you can start to input your information to create your poster. Text can be typed and moved around the page. There are several different fonts, colors, and styles of text to add a spark to your poster. You can add pictures from their gallery or you can upload your own pictures. You can also embed or link videos from the internet.
